Look! The days are coming,”declares Jehovah God,“when I will send a famine throughout the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water—but rather a famine of hearing the words of the Lord" (Amos 8:11)
We welcome all of you dear brothers and sisters in Christ who love the "Truth" which sets us free (John 8:31-32) . This site provides articles, Bible study helping tools and Bible translations in a rich library of resources. Our online fellowship is based on the principles of the Bible Student movement which was founded by Pastor Charles Taze Russell.
We highly appreciate the type of Bible study οur anointed brothers have developed in a long period of time and we stay close to the valuable truths they taught through Scriptures. We naturally do not claim for sure that the writings of Russell or other spirit begotten Christians are without faults or infallible but we generally estimate them as a first step to study the Holy Writings of Jehovah's word efficiently.
WHY DOES THIS GROUP TRY TO BUILD A FELLOWSHIP?
Our theme verse answers this question.During Amos’s time, there were numerous prophets, and Israel had abundant opportunities to hear God’s message. Prophecy was like daily bread for them. However, they disregarded it, much like their forefathers did with the manna in the wilderness. The absence of God’s word is the most grievous famine. In times of trouble, the silence of divine revelation weighs heavily. Imagine a world where the voice of God falls silent—a famine of the word of God is indeed the most severe affliction.
There is a spiritual famine among God's people today as it was in the days of prophet Amos. We may see the errors occur in the efforts of these people who try to base their teachings on human ideas and "traditions" (or we may call it "directions" and "arrangements") and not in the Bible. The result is that many lack spirituality because they refuse to study the Scriptures as the source of divine guidance and wisdom . They prefer to listen others talking about the Bible but they don't go to the Bible itself. Or if they do, they just wear their indoctrinated glassed to read it. Other Christians think that they should just take for granted whatever interpretation others do for them.
Charles T.Russell wrote : "Surely all know that whenever they join any of these human organizations, accepting its Confession of Faith as theirs, they bind themselves to believe neither more nor less than that creed expresses on the subject. If, in spite of the bondage thus voluntarily yielded to, they should think for themselves, and receive light from other sources, in advance of the light enjoyed by the sect they have joined, they must either prove untrue to the sect and to their covenant with it, to believe nothing contrary to its Confession, or else they must honestly cast aside and repudiate the Confession which they have outgrown, and come out of such a sect. To do this requires grace and costs some effort, disrupting, as it often does, pleasant associations, and exposing the honest truth-seeker to the silly charges of being a " traitor to his sect", a "turncoat," one "not established," etc. When one joins a sect, his mind is supposed to be given up entirely to that sect, and henceforth not his own. The sect undertakes to decide for him what is truth and what is error; and he, to be a true, staunch, faithful member, must accept the decisions of his seel, future as well as past, on all religious matters, ignoring his own individual thought, and avoiding personal investigation, lest he grow in knowledge, and be lost as a member of such seel. This slavery of conscience to a seel and creed is often stated in so many words, when such a one declares that he belongs " to such a seel. These shackles of seclarianism, so far from being rightly, esteemed as shackles and bonds, are esteemed and worn as ornaments, as badges of respeel and marks of characler. So far has the delusion gone, that many of God's children would be ashamed to be known to be without some such chains — light or heavy in weight, long or short in the per- sonal liberty granted. They are ashamed to say that they are not in bondage to any seel or creed, but " belong" to Christ only" (Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 3, Thy Kingdom Come, page 184-185)
We could never agree more on what sectarianism has done to Jehovah's people for all of these years. Unfortunately ,if Br. Russell and other anointed Christians were alive today, they could hardly believe that they would be part on what some people have done to the Organization they found. As these saints taught along with all the first Christian writers, "we should not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God" (1 John 4:1) and not consider there is someone today, whoever he is that can claim infalliblity or that the absolute truth can be sent by Jehovah God through him or "them" as a "channel". God's people has been grossly misled in believing that God uses individuals more than He uses the Bible itself.
This is why we build this online fellowship of true Jehovah's servants- to reject the errors wherever these can be found, whether in the books and literature by Christendom scholars or in the literature of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society- and thus trying to provide comfort and encouragement to those dear brothers and sisters who try to cope with unfounded doctrines which are taught today (e.g the "other sheep" idea or chronologies and generations).
SHOULD WE ABANDON JEHOVAH'S WITNESS ORGANIZATION BECAUSE OF THE ERRORS?
To answer shortly- no. We, as baptized members of Jehovah's Witnesses choose to stay inside the Organization. Like Jesus Christ who stayed inside a religious system which needed reformation,we try to keep a low profile and not making troubles or divisions. Some of us still serve as elders, ministerial servants or pioneers. We want to gain our brothers and sisters on kindness and christian encouragement than on "fiery" debates (2 Timothy 2:24,25).We are not against the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses and we don't encourage anyone to go against them either. If they teach (or continue to teach) error ,it is the LORD God and Christ who wll hold them accountable in the right time (Matthew 24:45,46).It is the unfaitfhul leaders that Jehovah God will judge and not the innocent sheep of His flock (Ezekiel 34:10). We cannot yet judge who is the faithful and who the evil slave until Jesus' Coming. So, we do not encourage divisions in the congregations but we do encourage prayer and careful of thought of what to accept according to God's Word.
We do not consider that we make up a new organization as well. As Br. Russell wrote again - "But no earthly organization can grant a passport to heavenly glory. The most bigoted sectarian (aside from the Romanist) will not claim, even, that membership in his sect will secure heavenly glory. All are forced to admit that the true Church is the one whose record is kept in heaven, and not on earth. They deceive the people by claiming that it is needful to come to Christ through them, -needful to become menlbers of some sectarian body in order to become members of "the body of Christ," the true Church. On the contrary, the Lord, while he has not refused any who came to him through sectarianism, and has turned no true seeker away empty, tells us that we need no such hindrances, but could much better have come to him direct. He cries, "Come unto me;" "take my yoke upon you, and learn of me ; " my yoke is easy and my burden is light, and ye shall find rest to your souls."(Studies in the Scriptures, Volume 3, Thy Kingdom Come, page 185-186)
This is the main principle we find this site of christian fellowship and we reject the idea of an organization. We welcome everyone, those who stay with the Jehovah's Witnesses and those who reject them.We reject apostasy though in every form (and what we mean by the word apostasy is the apostasy of the Bible teachings) and we also resist it in every way. To our view and we believe Christ's as well , the apostates are the people who leave the Truth of His word and teach differently while seeking to make disciples of their own or even take Christ's followers after them. We do not want have followers, nor people to seek cherishing and admiring our ideas. We point people to the Bible, the Scriptures and to Jesus. To nobody else. Neither to us nor to a human organization.
WHY WE CHOOSE TO SPEAK OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT THE BIBLE
Simply, because we believe that the Bible is the only inspired Word of God and not any human teaching whether received by tradition or by legacy(John 17:17) . Apostle Paul wrote - "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work"(2 Timothy 3:16-17)So by reading and studying the Scriptures ONLY , we are perfectly fine and capable of every good work- to see if we are taugh or we teach the right things, to correct our previous viewes and reproof those who deliberately deceive.
We do not need to go to a group of priests, clergy, elders or a Supreme Church counsil like a "governing body" to do this for us. Jehovah has given the book of His love, wisdom, guidance to every one of His children to know his ways and listen to the voice of the Good Sheperd, Jesus (John 10:27-28)So, even if others want us to silent the true message of the Bible, we will not listen to them. The Bible rejects the idea to "wait on the Lord" in an attitude of inactive "patience" - We wait on the Lord while we let Him use us as His instruments of protecting His interests and protecting His people , our fellow brothers and sisters.
The Bible says - "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy" (Proverbs 31:8-9) Yes, we should open our mouth if we are to bring a blessing to our felllow Christians who remain mute and silent for their own reasons "Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others" (Philippians 2:1-4)
This is why we want to welcome you all to this fellowship and mutual support. To love one another and learn to love God and His divine teaching as well. God uses our brothers and sisters or men in charge of His household to give us "His spiritual food", coming from the Scriptures. Nowhere in the Bible says that they should produce their own "spiritual food" to give it to the Household of faith but only Jehovah's.
We hope you can find comfort and peace here in Christian freedom. May the mercies of our Heavenly Father Jehovah and the love of His reigning Son,Christ Jesus be with you always as you continue to acquire knowledge which leads to "everlasting life" (John 17:3).
Your brothers in Christ
